Undoubtedly, we are experiencing stressful times amidst the uncertainty and upheaval of a global pandemic and national social unrest. For many, in addition to worrying about their physical health and wellness, the psychological toll of COVID-19 and the long-standing racial and social tensions across America has been especially challenging.
The Trauma 101 Training will introduce attendees to the impact of toxic stress and trauma and provide an overview of the prevalence and characteristics. Attendees will also learn about the role of resiliency and how to get involved in the local efforts to help create a more connected and thriving Erie County, PA.
Who should attend?
Anyone and everyone! ECTIC is hoping to see parents, caregivers, concerned community members, and professionals from a variety of disciplines (social services, law enforcement, criminal justice, faith-based, business, education, medical, etc.).
Everyone has a role to play in making Erie County a trauma-informed and compassionate community.
